Bosch offers two main types of long-reach tool in the Green consumer range: telescopic hedge trimmers with an angled cutting head for trimming tall hedges, and a pole saw attachment for cutting branches with a small chainsaw bar.
Both are battery powered and compatible with the Power4All 18V system — so if you already own Bosch cordless tools, your existing battery may well work with these too.

Before buying, check the maximum reach of the tool against the height of your hedge. Remember to add your own arm reach — you don't need to reach all the way to the top of the pole.
A fixed-angle head can only cut at one angle. A pivoting or adjustable head lets you trim the top flat and then pivot to do the sides — much more versatile.
They're very different tools. A telescopic hedge trimmer cuts foliage and thin stems — it won't cut branches. A pole saw cuts branches — it won't trim a hedge neatly.
Long-reach tools are heavier than standard trimmers. Look for models with good balance points and shoulder straps if you'll be using them for extended periods.
If your hedges are at a manageable height, a standard cordless trimmer may be all you need — lighter and easier to handle.
